Hi, I’m Ashlee—a wife and homeschooling mama of soon-to-be three, living in a small Texas town. After three years of trial and error online, I’ve finally found my path to success, and now I’m passionate about helping other moms do the same. I know the freedom you’re craving is within reach, and I’m here to help you achieve it, one step at a time.

I’m also a total California girl (like OMG!) who grew up on the San Diego beaches, rarely seeing other parts of nature- to now spending 70% of our days in nature with our homeschool community, raising chickens, and baking bread. Each year I age, I apparently go back 30 years in time too.

How Did I Get Here?

Back in January of 2020, I was living with my husband, 4 year old and 6 month old baby at my father in law’s.

I had some pretty severe PPA paired with my decade of anxiety from unhealed trauma after an abusive relationship and a dash of feeling like a failure because we were living at my FIL’s and I was 30.

We were saving up to buy our first home in Texas so it was a necessary step- but it was still a lot to handle. I was also working 5-6 nights a week at a restaurant so I barely saw my husband.

When the pandemic hit and my work closed- I had dinner with my family every single night for the first time ever.

Something that seems so simple and routine- was absolute bliss to me.

After Rachel & Dave Hollis gave my soul a much-needed revival getting me out of my “woe is me” slump- I got to work. I decided that somehow, someway… I was going to make money online AND be with my kids 24/7.

I spent a few years trying to find something that was profitable, fit into our family life (especially when we decided to homeschool), and that I had so much fun doing!

There were a lot of deadends along the way. Virtual Assistant was easy- but I didn’t want to build someone elses’ business. Selling printables on Etsy was cool- but I do NOT have a creative eye at all!

Turns out that my lifelong passion of helping others is NOW my “job”.

Here on this blog, I plan to make an even bigger impact so that mama’s around the world can get back more time with their kids, build a business they’re passionate about, and (embrace for corniness) change the world too.
